In our office, you will work with highly experienced physical therapists who are compassionate listeners and keen diagnosticians. We will conduct a comprehensive evaluation that starts with your medical history and current complaints. We will then assess your condition using a full body approach to gather information about any issues you may have with posture, strength, stability, range of motion, body mechanics and mobility. Finally, tailor a treatment plan to meet your unique needs, which will usually consist of manual therapy and exercise prescription based on your goals.
Our treatment sessions are one-on-one with a physical therapist. We are extremely attentive to form and proper body mechanics so we prefer to work with you ourselves rather than using aides to oversee your program. This way there is no room for error. You will leave us with a very clear understanding of your condition as well as how to maintain your rehabilitated status and prevent future injury. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and the knowledge to attain any state of wellness to which you aspire.
In keeping with our team approach, we also require our Pilates, personal training, and yoga clients to be screened by a physical therapist so that your experience is safer and more effective. These wellness screenings are complimentary.
Manual therapy is an essential part of physical therapy, especially for chronic pain and after surgery. We are experts in joint mobilization, stretching, myofascial release, massage, and many other therapeutic manual techniques.
Different conditions call for different exercises. Our highly skilled physical therapists and exercise specialists will teach you how to achieve optimal form during exercise in many different positions, and ultimately to perform higher-level exercises with less risk of injury. We’ll make sure to come up with routines that are effective and pain free, and we will create progressive home exercise programs for you as well.
In our more than two decades of practice, we have built strong professional relationships with numerous surgeons, orthopedists, neurologists, and other medical professionals in the area. We are happy to consult with your doctor about your care and, whenever needed, to coordinate your treatment.
Upon request, Centurion may perform therapy in your home for an additional fee. Please inquire via phone or email if you are interested.
